Moisture and corrosion resistance
PP sheets have a stable molecular structure, are non-absorbent, mold-resistant, and can resist corrosion from weak acids, weak alkalis and other corrosive substances. They can effectively address issues such as ground moisture and cargo leakage that may occur in warehouses (especially spaces storing daily chemicals, grain and oil, hardware and other goods), preventing walls from getting moldy due to moisture or being damaged by corrosion. This extends the service life of walls and reduces the risk of goods getting damp caused by wall damage.
Cost Efficiency
With a density of only 0.9-0.91g/cm³, it is much lighter than traditional wall materials such as masonry and cement, which can reduce the load-bearing pressure on the warehouse's main building structure and lower the construction costs of the foundation and wall support structure. At the same time, it has strong impact resistance, can withstand minor external forces caused by cargo handling and equipment collision in the warehouse, and is not easy to crack or break, reducing the frequency and cost of subsequent wall repairs.
Durability
PP sheets can be directly cut and drilled without complex construction techniques or large-scale equipment. They can be quickly spliced and installed with light steel keels. Compared with cement walls that require on-site mixing and curing or brick walls that require fine processing, they can significantly shorten the construction time of warehouse walls, helping the warehouse put into use faster and improving operational efficiency.
Fireproof Performance
PP sheets with added flame retardants can reach the Class B1 flame-retardant performance specified in the GB 8624 standard. When exposed to fire, they burn slowly, produce little smoke, and release no toxic gases. This can meet the fire safety requirements of most warehouses (especially spaces storing non-flammable and non-explosive goods), providing basic protection for the safety of goods and personnel.
